Mr. Burnside is a Texas-based DJ and producer with nearly three decades behind the decks. His musical foundation began in punk bands during his early teens before transitioning into the underground rave circuit in the late 90s, where he began DJing at 17.
As Mr. Burnside, his sets draw from the deeper end of house music — blending soulful grooves, disco influence, and classic and Latin house into tightly controlled, late-night driven selections rooted in dancefloor function.
Under the alias Keine Moniker, he explores a more stripped, shadowed palette, focusing on minimal, raw, and hypnotic forms of house and techno.
Across both projects, Burnside’s work is defined by restraint, control, and a long-view understanding of dance music — prioritizing movement, texture, and longevity over trend.
